With a 102mm waist, the Mantra 102 model performs perfectly both on and off-piste. In addition to impressive off-piste performance, the Mantra 102 is perfect for all-round freeride skiing on the piste.

The geometry of this model with 3D Radius Sidecut waist and a centre radius reduced by one metre to 19 m not only places the ski in our All Mountain collection, but also enables it to be used absolutely anywhere. The new Tailored Carbon Tips in combination with the Tailored Titanal Frame open up completely new creative possibilities. This means that the Mantra 102 ski is certainly sporty, but also relaxed and allows you to achieve results not only off-piste, but also on piste.

In the Tailored Titanal Frame construction, the width of the upper titanal strip can be adjusted to the length of the ski. The resulting torsional stiffness and desired cushioning properties can be adapted to the skier's requirements. The titanal content is reduced for shorter skis, meaning that shorter and lighter skiers can maximise the use of their skis without excessive effort.

The new tailored carbon fibre Tailored Carbon Tips make the Mantra skis extremely versatile. Carbon fibres applied using the Tailored Fibre Placement (TFP) method allow Volkel engineers to influence the curve characteristics with great precision. The strength and placement of the fibres defines the force you need to apply and the energy that builds up where you need it.

A special feature is the agile response of the bow. This means that as soon as you start a turn you can control the ski in a measurable and easy way. In other words, all you have to do is simply think about changing direction - and you're done. This construction has also made it possible to reduce the weight of the ski without sacrificing stability.

A multi-layer wood core, Full Sidewall throughout and a P-Tex 2100 base complete the specification of this freeride model with Tip and Tail Rocker profile.
